Tirana - Berat

The tour explores Tirana, a city blending Ottoman history, communist landmarks, and modern architecture. Key attractions include Skanderbeg Square, the National History Museum, Et'hem Bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, Blloku District, the Pyramid of Tirana, and optionally, the House of Leaves. In the afternoon, the tour moves to Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008, featuring the historic neighborhoods of Gorica, Mangalemi, and Kala. The day concludes with a castle walk, dinner at a traditional restaurant, and hotel check-in.

Berat - Gjirokaster

After Breakfast we will leave Berat and drive towards Gjirokaster, 180 km, about 3 hr. Upon arriving in Gjirokaster we will visit the Castle. Gjirokastër was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list in 2005. (Overnight stay in Berat)

Gjirokaster - Permet - Korce

After breakfast we will leave Gjirokaster towards Korce, 200 km, about 5 hr drive. This distance will be divided in two, visiting Permet, Vjosa river, the thermal water of Benja. Enjoy the gastronomy and the serenatess in Korce.

Korce - Pogradec Lake - Tirane

After breakfast will leave Korca towards Pogradec the city on the shores of the famous lake of Ohrid. Lake Ohrid is a lake which straddles the mountainous border between the southwestern part of North Macedonia and eastern Albania. It is one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes, with a unique aquatic ecosystem of worldwide importance, with more than 200 endemic species. Way to Tirana Check-in to the hotel Overnight in Tirana.

DEPARTURE FROM TIRANA

This is the last day, free time in the city and transfer to airport. What to Expect and Highlights This tour has 2-3 hours driving every day. Some walking and climbing will be while visiting the castles.
